Angelo and I met online in 2011! As it is now, at the time, online dating was not as common. It just happened, although I honestly was not expecting to meet anyone. Angelo and I hit it off, and as soon as the relationship is there, it doesn’t happen to meet.
Our one year anniversary to celebrate, he surprised me with a live at Crown Metropol. 1 night, he simply got down to one knee and proposed from the hotel area. I can say it’s one of the most cherished moments of my life–it was authentic, intimate and magical.
I wanted something timeless and traditional . I picked the one which I thought looked beautiful of course embodied that atmosphere of I was searching and on me and tried on a few.
As it came into the design I was looking for our marriage I knew I needed something which was stylish and elegant. We chose the venue as it was all I imagined and more with our loved ones for our classy wedding we did for our particular day. When we found it, we knew it was the perfect fit, and it was really! We couldn’t look beyond it–that the ceremony was second to none, and we felt relaxed during the process.
Which were your favourite or most memorable aspects of your wedding day?
Because they were meaningful and touching, my favourite moment in the afternoon would definitely have to be the speeches given in the reception. In that instant, I felt so emotional and joyful .
Is there anything you would have done otherwise?
Since the family photographs did not go as I had planned in my mind, could be to be more prepared in exactly what shots I needed the photographer to catch.
Have you got some advice for future brides?
My advice to future brides would be to try and not worry so much about the finer aspects throughout the time preparation, for it will not matter as much on the day. Embrace and revel in all of it while, and as much as, possible.
