On July 9, American Vogue published its August cover, which features Ariana Grande. The comments immediately turned around the debate that the singer is completely different from herself. The 26-year-old pop star, known to love to wear oversized clothes, high boots and a long tail, in a Vogue photo shoot looks delicate and subtle. In the photo, Ariana poses in a wide-brimmed black hat by Eric Javits and a little black Dior dress with her dog Toulouse in her arms. The cover was shot by famous American photographer Annie Leibovitz.

“I play my funny character, with his bright make-up and baggy clothes,” commented the singer.
Ariana also gave an interview to the publication, in which she spoke about her experiences with the death of her boyfriend, hip-hop and rap artist Mac Miller, last year, and how music helped her cope with the situation.
Grande is one of the most popular pop stars in the world. In February of this year, the first, second and third place in the Billboard music chart took Ariana's songs from her latest album Thank U, Next. Previously, such a precedent was only with The Beatles in 1964.
