The GARAGE edition took an exclusive interview and filmed Ezra Miller in the image of Burberry, supplemented with a mask and harness, studded with precious stones.

Met Gala is constantly challenging fashionistas looking for a way to outbid each other in their choice of clothes, but this year’s theme, Camp: Fashion Notes, made all the stars pretty much agitated because of one seemingly simple but really difficult question. : what is camp? (Don't worry: even Andrew Bolton, the director of the Costume Institute, says that “it's impossible to define clearly Camp.”)

Fortunately, one of the participants of Met Gala of this year successfully uncovered the topic of the camp long before all Twitter users began to figure out what was happening. Ezra Miller, actor, singer and a big fan of fashion, the king of Moncler down jackets and cosplay competitions at Comic-Kone, walked along the red carpet in a Burberry costume, a corset with jewels and oxfords adorned with diamonds.

Ezra Miller told GARAGE about what inspired the creation of this image, about collaboration with Burberry creative director Ricardo Tishi and the umbrella concept of Camp.

Below are pictures of Miller taken by Sabrina Santiago for GARAGE.

“Honoring a camp is almost a funeral one … As if, immediately after its appearance, he dies. But it seems to me that it absorbs everything else. Do you understand? It seems to me that this is something like fire and oxygen. ”

Speaking about how his image for Met Gala was planned and created, Ezra Miller says the following: “I had a lot of strange thoughts in my head and I tried to explain them to several people, but often they perceived them with apprehension or even fear. And Ricardo immediately came to the delight of this idea. We talked about this on the phone, and, as I was told, two minutes after the beginning of the conversation, he had already begun to sketch this image. ” In part, Miller regarded the image under the mask as “death … as an incredible reincarnation, through which we must pass at least once. Honoring a camp is almost a funeral one … As if, immediately after its appearance, he dies. But it seems to me that it absorbs everything else. Do you understand? It seems to me that this is something like fire and oxygen. ”

“When Ezra and I just started working on this image for Met Gala, we both quickly agreed on how we want to see his first ball. He is a truly creative person in all respects, and it is for this that I love him so much and admire him, ”said Tishi, adding,“ (Ezra) is bold, creative, empathetic, and he is not afraid to take risks in terms of ".
